FCS Ag Discovery Barn
The Ag Discovery Barn is a spacious, flexible event venue that works well for weddings, receptions, graduation parties, community events, and other gatherings. The barn is intentionally kept as a blank canvas, giving renters the freedom to create a setup and atmosphere that fits their event.
With approximately 5,000 square feet of usable space, the barn can accommodate around 250 guests with a traditional reception layout and 300+ depending on the table arrangement and setup.

The barn does not have heat or air conditioning, and renters provide their own tables, chairs, decorations, and other event supplies.
Coming Spring 2027 - Peoples Bank Pavilion
Peoples Bank Pavilion brings the warmth of timber framing and the openness of the outdoors together in a welcoming space to gather. This 40’ x 90’ semi-open pavilion offers a flexible, covered setting for community meals, youth banquets, producer events, meetings, civic gatherings, and event hospitality.
Designed for multi-season use, the pavilion will feature large openings to the outdoors, ceiling fans, and thoughtful lighting. Whether you’re bringing people together for a celebration or coordinating volunteers for a larger event, Peoples Bank Pavilion offers room to connect with protection from the weather.
Hangar
The Hangar is a large, heated space designed for agricultural, livestock, and community activities throughout the year. It is a practical option for 4-H events, livestock shows, clinics, demonstrations, meetings, and other gatherings that need plenty of room and protection from the weather.
Its open layout and high shop doors make it easy to accommodate livestock, equipment, exhibits, and larger event setups.

Horse Arena
The horse arena offers a spacious outdoor setting for riding and equestrian events. With a regularly maintained arena surface, perimeter fencing, a mechanical chute, and nearby bleacher seating, the space accommodates both participants and spectators.
Livestock Building
Located in the northwest section of the Sioux County Agriculture & Expo Center grounds, our 80’ x 200’ livestock building offers flexible space for agricultural and community use. With room for more than 200 5’ x 8’ pens, the building supports local 4-H and FFA participants, hands-on learning, clinics, workshops, and agricultural events.
Beyond livestock activities, the building provides a large, shaded setting for sales, events, and other gatherings. During the winter months, it is also available to rent for seasonal storage.

Each facility is $350 per day per facility. They are only rented out by the day.

You will need to submit a rental agreement and the rental fee to reserve your date(s).

A signed rental agreement, the rental fee, a security deposit, event insurance, and a signed alcohol policy (if applicable) are required. Additional documents may be required depending on the facility and event.

Each facility is a blank canvas for you to make your own. Tables, chairs, and supplies will need to be brought in. The barn does have cleaning supplies, as well as bathroom necessities.
